Education is a vital foundation for the development of any community or nation. Ensuring that every child has access to education is therefore essential to the progress of marginalized communities. With this commitment, ECDO has worked consistently since its inception to expand educational opportunities for marginalized children.

Beyond general education, ECDO has introduced a bilingual education system for indigenous children, enabling them to learn in their mother tongue. The organization has published primary-level textbooks for Manipuri children with support from HEI VERDEN, a Norwegian development agency that has partnered with ECDO since 2015. As a result, many indigenous children can now receive education in their native language.

In addition, ECDO distributes free educational materials to students from marginalized communities including Tea labor, Patro, Khasi, Manipuri, and other groups in the Sylhet Region. These efforts enable children living in extreme poverty to continue their education with fewer barriers.

Through these initiatives, ECDO advances the goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, in alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (Goal 4)
