Deboshri Patro – I want to go for Higher Study
Shree Deboshri Patro (7) is studying in class IV at Alaibahar Education Support Center (ESC). Her father Shree Brojendra Patro is an old person and physically very weak.So he can’t involve himself in any job. Her mother Shree Meera Patro (42) is a housewife. Deboshri has four brothers and two sisters.Her elder brother is living separately after his marriage. Second brother is working as a day labor in Sylhet city. Her third brother is unemployed and the youngest one is only five years old. Her elder sister is married and the another one is left her school after completing her education up to grad 7.

Actually it is very difficult to maintain such a large family only by a single income family member. In such circumstances, education is nothing but just luxurious issue for them!
“I do not like to work at home. I want to study and after completing higher education I want to be a teacher as like as our ESC Madam”, said Deboshri.In this situation, Deboshri’s guardian contact with ECDO and become one of the beneficiary students under our education project. Now she is continuing her education with necessary support from ECDO. She is getting all kinds of necessary education material without any cost from ECDO.
