Education Materials Distribution Program

On 9th April, Ethnic Community Development Organization (ECDO) successfully organized an Education Materials Distribution (EMD) Program at Doldoli Education Support Centre in Sylhet. The initiative was implemented under two ongoing projects namely Primary Level Education Support for Marginalized Children (PLESMC) and Secondary Level Education Support for Marginalized Students (SESMS).
The program was conducted with support of Stromme Foundation, Norway, with the aim of ensuring that children from marginalized communities have access to essential learning materials to support their educational journey.Mr. Abhijit Kumar Paul, Secondary Education Officer of Sylhet Sadar Upazila, attended as a guest of the event. He shared inspiring and encouraging words with the students, motivating them to pursue their studies with dedication, confidence, and determination.
During the program, 100 students received essential educational supplies, helping to ease barriers to learning. An interactive session was also held, where students were encouraged to actively engage in their education and dream of a brighter future.
The program was conducted by ECDO’s Coordinator Nongpoklai Sinha, Project Coordinator Tasnim Chowdhury, and Assistant Program Coordinator Momtahiunur Rahman Chowdhury.Teachers, community members, and ECDO representatives were present at the event, offering their support and guidance to the students. The program reflects ECDO’s continued commitment to empowering marginalized communities through education and creating opportunities for a better tomorrow.
