ECDO Celebrates World Environment Day with Tree Plantation at Schools

On the occasion of World Environment Day, ECDO organized a tree plantation program on June 5. As part of this initiative, ECDO planted various fruits tree saplings at Airport High School and Haji Abdus Samad High School in Sylhet Sadar Upazila. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers at the respective schools. The authorities of Airport High School and Haji Abdus Samad High School expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to ECDO for organizing such a significant and impactful event. Before the tree planting, Mr. Lakshmikanta Singh, Executive Director of ECDO, delivered a short speech to the students. He emphasized the importance of tree planting in protecting the environment and encouraged everyone to plant fruit trees in the empty spaces of their yards. This program underscores ECDO’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community involvement, fostering a greener future for all.
