Motivational Award Ceremony-2025

Ethnic Community Development Organization (ECDO) successfully organized a Motivational Award Ceremony to recognize and encourage the academic efforts and achievements of students of Education Support Centre (ESC) and Manipuri Language Centre (MLC). The event was held with active participation from students, teachers, guardians, and community members.A total of 141 students from Doldoli ESC, Alaibahar ESC, Lackattorah ESC, Bhanubil Majhergaon MLC, and Mongolpur MLC took part in the program. The ceremony aimed to promote positive competition, boost students’ confidence, and acknowledge both excellence and effort in education.

As part of the award process, first- and second-place students from each participating institution were honored with prizes for their outstanding academic performance. In addition, all participating students received consolation prizes, ensuring inclusive recognition and motivation for every learner.The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Lakshmikanta Singh, Executive Director of ECDO and Shumi Nayek, president of Cha Sramik Nari Mancha (A woman tea-worker network) along with who attended the ceremony and addressed the participants. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of education as a foundation for empowerment and sustainable community development. He encouraged students to remain committed to their studies and to pursue knowledge with determination and confidence.Teachers and guardians welcomed the initiative, expressing that such motivational programs play a crucial role in strengthening students’ interest in learning and reinforcing the value of education within families and communities.

Through this Motivational Award Ceremony, ECDO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting quality education and empowering youth from ethnic communities. The organization continues to work toward creating opportunities that inspire students and contribute to long-term social development
